Site viewing, often in articles, is unnecessarily slow and frustrating.

Its so frustrating! I used to have satellite internet, wonderful stuff there! But its SO expensive, I had to let it go and rely on a horrible cell signal that occasionally floats past my house.

We had satellite here for a while but I think the satellite kept getting lost behind the moon.
We have a line of sight to a beacon system now. The beacon is on the next mountain.
It's okay some days, crap on others.

I can confirm that. Just downloaded it for the first time in years. I'm sticking with Opera for now.

I'm not atm, that's part of the problem. I'm on a very old laptop running microshite doors XP.
I need to sort out a cable (dig yet another trench) to my house to use my desktop machine which runs Linux.

Chrome is supposed to be the fastest. I've always used Chrome but maybe its time for something else.

The problem really lies in the fact that you can't produce a good connection with a browser where there is no signal.

Chrome sucks. It's a resource hog. And I kind of spoke too soon with my dissing of Firefox. It is definitely not like it used to be. It's pretty zippy now, worth trying out imho.

Isn't there a way to block images from loading? I mean unless you want to see the images - then I guess you are in trouble as this site is loaded with images. Also, maybe you are having issues with all of the ads since you are not a premium member? I use an ad block.
I am a Firefox lover. I have never had issues with it. But, in recent years I have only been using a MacBook, iPad, and now a Samsung tablet. But my main "computer" is the MacBook.
I live where good internet is hard to come by. You got to pay to play.
