I often think New Mexico might be the worst state in the country for internet.

Move to Texas, Houston specifically.
Internet options are the bomb here. . Although internet speed is not everything, having up to date devices really does improve internet use.

Isn't there a way to block images from loading? I mean unless you want to see the images - then I guess you are in trouble as this site is loaded with images. Also, maybe you are having issues with all of the ads since you are not a premium member? I use an ad block.
I am a Firefox lover. I have never had issues with it. But, in recent years I have only been using a MacBook, iPad, and now a Samsung tablet. But my main "computer" is the MacBook.
I live where good internet is hard to come by. You got to pay to play.

Yes, but....
To convert from say png with say a 5 Mb file size to jpeg with say 700Kb isn't a big deal.
The picture will load a lot faster and the change in image quality is low.
I read this site on an old laptop atm.
I could set up an image block but then I won't see all the pretty pictures....
I'm just moaning really. I wanted to read a particular article this morning and it just wouldn't load....

Which one? I'll take screenshots of it for you and they may load faster for you.

Hi, I live in Northern Portugal, no fast internet here either thats when it even works at all!. But I do pay for BYC and so I can block ads, which does actually make a difference to loading times. We use Firefox also as more privacy, Chrome - you may as well tell the world - oh but Chrome already did!!
