Hi there!
I'm new to the community as well as a proud new duck momma! My Indian Runner ducklings are about a week and a half now. One of them, the larger one (he's growing so fast!) sits funny sometimes. He'll sit back on his hindquarters - his butt - and just let his little legs sit out in front of him. Otherwise, he walks, runs, plays and jumps just fine so I'm really not worried about him ... Just wondering if this is normal? It's pretty cute when he does it :) If I can snap a picture I will.
Thanks!!
Sara

Just to be on the safe side because duckling grow so fast, it woud b a good idea to start your ducklings on some niacin or brewrs yeast, not baking yeast though. Niacin plain not flush free or time release. 100-150mgs in their water once a day till about 12 weeks old. Ducklings need quite a bit more niacin than is in chick feed, unless you have them on duck stater. if you get brewers yeast add about a Tab. to their feed daily. We'd love to see some pics, Runners are one of my fav. ducks.
