Six 1 Week old Baby Chicks

Well, we did it. We bought 6 baby chicks from our local feed store. We are now proud owners of 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Ameraucanas, and 2 Sex Linked Goldens. They are so cute! My 9 year old daughter is absolutely thrilled and of course she has already named them. Here are our girls.

Sasha - Rhode Island Red

Flutter- Rhode Island Red

Hazel - Ameraucana

Speckles - Ameraucana

Goldie - Sex linked Golden

Siena - Sex linked Golden

Now we will have to build that chicken coop!

The backdrop was a blue towel draped over the toilet. My daughter helped to make certain a chick didn't fall off. It was lots of fun. I am photo crazy so there will probably more as they grow.
