Six week old Ameraucana (or EE) sexing???

I’m going to be the odd person out and say to keep an eye on the black/white one. It’s looking suspicious, the comb isn’t red but does have some width to it. Easter Eggers can be slow to mature. The others are definitely pullets. Post that one again in a few weeks just to be sure. I hope I’m wrong!

I totally agree! This one jumped out immediately as a cockeral suspect.

I, too, have a black and white one I’m not sure about. Because it has only one row of “peas” on the comb, I thought we were ok, but the tail feathers look suspicious. 8 weeks old. Any guesses?

Definitely a cockerel. And looks like his comb is trying to be a single comb rather than a pea comb. That’s why your not seeing a distinct 3 rows.

I don't think you'll like my answer but I see one pullet and two that I'd wait and see on. The gold with the solid head and sharply marked body and the b/w are, IMO, both iffy. The females usually have messier markings as chicks while males are either flashy penciling that vanishes as they molt or splotches of color that morphs into male patterns. I see flashy penciling on both, the b/w is just molting before the gold one. The combs aren't developed yet but those patterns still give me pause.

I know you can’t see in the photo, but the rust colored one is a Barnevelder. Please tell me you are only talking about EEs!
