Size of oblong object laid by female fowl relative to size of roo?

Would the size of the roo have anything to do with the size of the egg laid by the hen? Red and Buffy have been hanging out will Nugget lately and Red just laid the biggest egg she's ever laid in her fluffy life.

RATS! Thanks though, I was hoping since it was an EX Lg representation of what is left by the Easter Bunny,,, it meant it might be Nuggetron's progeny.
 
My girls have layed some pretty big eggs before I got my Roo and now after he is gone. I really didn't notice any difference in the eggs except being fertile when I had my Roo.
 
Roos make no difference in the size of the egg.... it's probably a double yolker... it'll taste great scrambled.
