Size of pen for broody hen?

Just wondering how big a pen for a broody hen should be? I haven't been able to find any information on this subject.

i would say a 3 by 4 pen or bigger

i have a 4x7 pen. One end is nest area and food. One end for dusting and scratching a bit. It seems to work well with the chicks until they reach about 2 weeks then they need larger quarters with their mom or they drive her crazy. lol Gloria Jean

It ain't gotta be HUGE. I agree with the person above. 3x4 or somwhere around in that size.

What about 2' X 4' with access to a covered, secure outdoor run? How tall should it be?

Would you use the same size for a bantam breed?
