If life hadn't thrown me the blue with red smooth I was planning on keeping entirely with the BBS that Sarah had begun.
I don't have a huge problem with culling so I think I might do two different sets. The blue and red smooth over the blue Sizzle pullet and another of the Splash Sizzle over the blue pullet. Then using the best of both. And probably if I keep her here the Splash to the Black Sizzle pullet.
I need to keep fewer right now (selling much of my stock to help pay for a root canal) so I'm going to be sticking with only three or four birds. One smooth male, one Sizzle, and the two Sizzle pullets. When the Splash goes back to Sarah, then I'll at least have something to work with. Though she's talking about sending me a smooth and then just sharing eggs - also makes sense.
