sizzles breeders list

Ok, Here's pics
This is Elvis. She got her name mostly because of her crest. It reminded me of Elvis' hair. Plus she has a very thin lacing on her hackle feathers. Now if I just could teach her to sing and dance we would have a fortune on our hands. lol

Pricilla. I named her that because she is prissy and I think my prettiest one.

Moe (right front), Curly (left front) and Elvis Moe and Curly got their names because Moe was bossy when she was a chick and Curly was .....so curly. The calico roo in this pic was temporary. I just wanted to try to get a calico sizzle.

Noel, She hatched on Christmas is how she got her name

And Goldie. I have no particular reason for her name other than she just seems like a Goldie to me

And M.J. he's a grey silkie thats in the sizzle pen. He's a great roo. Does his job well in all aspects. Actually Noel is his daughter and Pricilla her mother.

I ended up with a Sizzle on accident!
I was looking for a blue Silkie but got a blue Sizzle cockerel. Named him Dynamite. XD
I want to breed Sizzles, but my only Silkie went broody and I can't find any more...
You'd think Silkies would be easier to find!

They lay nicely tasty eggs:) they are a smaller breed and so you will get smaller eggs. But they take up less room eat less. And a very loveing and calm little birds even the roo's.

Just wanted to add my name to the breeder list.
Setting up new pens very soon, I will have the fallowing in spring:

~Cuckoo Creole sizzles- sizzle cuckoo hens with a creole silkie roo (red, black and white stripes) and a Banty creole polish roo, with the cuckoo frizzled silkie hens.
~ Columbian sizzles- buff Columbian, coronation, and posible Delaware sizzles. These tend to produce a good hand full of beautiful very pale penciled laced silkies just about everyone I've gotten have large valted skulls. But occasionly i will get solid blue or black sizzles too. With columbian sizzles and silkies ofcorse:). They are a work in progress:). But still excellent typie birds.
~ Millie/ tolbunt calico sizzles- there will be atlesst two pens of these aswel, one pen will have a huge crested calico silkie roo with frizzled tolbunt/ Millie d'uccles hens. The other will have a very nice solid black silkie frizzled roo, (parents are columbian roo and red partridge sizzle mom, should be hiding lots of color) with the smooth tolbunt/ milli hen crosses.
All pens have all the hens or all the roo's frizzled, to produce the best chace of getting frizzled chicks. Without produceing unwanted over frizzled birds.
More addition to be added later....

If you live in Michigan I have a small handful of chicks on hand. But do plan on shipping eggs in spring 2014...
I am a potter, and have added a place to see some of the birds and order eggs on my website- Roundaboutpottery.com
under a section called- Yard Art Poultry
Thanks:)
