skin pecked off back of head and neck

Someone help me! My poor 5 week old chic got attacked and the skin is missing from the back of her neck. Any suggestions? I am getting her to drink but her eyes are swollen shut.

Depending on just how bad it is. Antibotic ointment like Neosporin. Just make sure it does NOT have Lidocaine, or Benzocaine in it. What was it attacked by? Good luck let me know if she turns out ok.

I would be worried about those eyes. Chickens have a BAD habit of pecking eyes out, when they are doing this. Be prepared for doing the right thing if this is the case. Otherwise, keep the chick seperate, warm and the wounds clean.
