Skin under wing ripped!!!

I was checking on my chickens when I got home and one of them has the skin under her wing ripped open... what can I do for her???

I'm no vet, but I would wash it and put some triple antibiotic salve on if first. If you think you can get a bandage of some sort to stay that might also help.

Someone else here should be able to give you a better answer.

The muscle wasn't torn but that is a big chunk of skin missing. And unfortunately it will be around 8pm that I finally get home tonight.

i agree with Mahonri, you have to get the wound clean before infection sets in. Maybe wrap some gauze around her mid section to cover under her wing? Do you have roosters? could be the reason she was ripped open under there. Perhps make her a saddle to wear so it doesn't keep happening.
