I dont know if this video has already been posted, and if it has, I apologize.

I think there are a lot of people here who really would like to raise and process their own meat birds, but find the whole processing to be a bit intimidating. I think skinning your first chicken is a good way to take a baby step and try one on your own, without worrying about plucking. Hopefully this video will give people the knowledge to start on their own.

Good video. They have obviously been processing chickens for a while.

I think skinning is a great way to go for dark-feathered birds. The light-feathered birds make a pretty carcass when plucked, but you can see a lot of pin feathers when you pluck a dark-feathered bird.
