skinning or plucking

I have mine mounted on a drill press for convenience, but a drill strapped to a table top would do the trick also.

We dressed 30 yesterday- skinned most of them but did pluck ~ 8. What I learned is - DO NOT BUY black feathered birds for plucking! lol

oh, that is so true with the black feathers. another fact... if you pluck, only serve the white feathered birds to people who've never eaten homemade chicken before. you will stil find weird little black hairs in the chicken otherwise. ask me how i know. ask me what the reaction will be. ask me if you will be soon going to the store to get take out. lol.
