Some of them are,my 10 month old cockerel is same size as my 2 year old rooster, the cockerel cares more about itself than he cares about the hens
Oh, reminds me of my Easter Egger boi, Redcap, sadly he died when I was at school awhile ago, he was hit by a car and the person just drove off, which is
illegal. Anyway, he and Red were a flock of two, I don't think that they were gay (if that is possible

), they were bros, they would always leave the coop in the morning and hang out together, hoarding all the food that they found and they were chunky and cheerful, always kind to humans but stayed away from their own kind. They would manly have their hangout place by the road (aka Redcaps demise) and would like to cross it, I guess that grass was greener on the other side? (even though it was into our neighbors' yard, they where family and they had a vicious pitbull, with a secretly tender heart towards his owners, and a playful pitbull, both rescues, they didn't like running tiny things.) Anyway, after Redcap past away, Red took up leadership to caring for the other chickens and protecting the hens from the roosters' bulling. Thus, skinny rooster love boi was created and chunky, spoiled boi disappeared. (I miss Redcap he was my third favorite, the other two died before him, both Easter Eggers too, so he was my to favorite per se.)
