Hello, I have a young Blue copper Maran who is definitely low on the pecking order. She gets pecked by all of my older chickens(half of the flock) even though they've all lived together for months. She doesn't want too come out of the coop and into the run, even when she does she hides, because they (the older ones) chase her. She's really sweet and loves people; she sits on our feet for protection when we're with her. Do I need to remove her from the run or is there a way to help correct everyone's behavior?

Here's a picture of her hiding. The one standing over her was chasing her. I also have videos, but they can't be loaded.

I have 22 chickens(various small breeds) in a roughly 25Lx12Wx6H run with a 12Lx6Wx8H coop.

Is all the area in the coop and run open? If it is, it sounds like she will benefit greatly from having things to block the vision of other birds and more spots for her to hide. Can be something simple like a piece of plyboard propped up or an overturned chair. Just something so she's out of sight and therefore out of mind.

Yes, she has a few places, but they chase her regardless. Because of that she barely leaves the coop(if at all) all day, and I'm not sure if that's healthy or not.

This is her right now. 😭

I've looked her over and she doesn't have any injuries, so I know they're not trying to hard to hurt her. No one is even near her right now and she still hides.

At some point I imagine it's a learned behavior. If she's only known getting attacked, she's going to still hide even if no one is directly coming at her in the moment. 😕
