Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have americana chicks and they seem so skittish compared to other chicks i have raised. is this normal for them? they are only a little over a month old

some breeds are more so than others, and a healthy survival instinct, at that age they are seen as perfect age for every predator out there.
