Skulls

It was very cool. If it was sitting in the woods it probably would have been different, but it was in a trash can. There was also a very suspicious smell in the trashcan that seemed rotting
flesh-y.

There's Turkey, Wood duck, 2 squirrel, 2 rabbit, 1 Porcupine, 1 Cat, 2 Raccon, 2 Possum, 1 Bear, & 1 Coyote skull. There's also a Alligator Gar head.
Great collection! Were they all purchased?

I wish I found a deer skull with antlers
The one I have I found, rare because usually mice eat the antlers.

No, only one was purchased.
Thanks.

I cleaned them up, they were both found skulls in the woods, & cleaned up from dead animals.

The porcupine still had decaying flesh on it when I found it. It was a bit stinky, so I boiled it in dish soap infused water, & removed flesh with a knife. It didn't take long to whiten in Peroxide.

How did you clean the turkey skull?

I boiled it for awhile on high, removed flesh, tendons, & eyes with a knife. I removed the brain with tooth picks, & whitened it in peroxide.

I usually do a two week drying process to remove the fine bits of flesh with a knife, before I whiten, & brain removal.

The Turkey was a fresh one.
