Skunk in my backyard

Lemon and orange peel worked for me. I had a skunk digging around the coop and I read they don’t like citrus fruit smell.

Thanks for the info about citrus. I'll have to try that. Something kept tripping my motion sensor lights and I was going to put the trail cam out and see what it was but I got lucky and spotted it out the window. Big old skunk. It can't get in my coop or run so I'm not worried about that but I sure don't want to surprise it when I go out and end up getting sprayed!

The orange peel worked for me. I broke the fresh peel into pieces and scattered the around where the skunk was digging. The skunk left and hasn’t been back.
