skunks consider a predator

Yep and they really like eggs. I had one get in my duck pen and eat the eggs, didnt bother the ducks, but eat alot of their eggs and they were due to hatch in less then a week...............

They are in the weasle family and we all know how weasles love their chciken and eggs!
We have them here too.
ELCETRIC FENCE! Works wonders and believ it or not you can always tell instantly when a skunk touched it! lol

my back yard is fenced in with chain link fence and those little stinking bastards still find a way in and spray my rott ... i feel bad when she gets sprayed ... she has to sleep in the shop until we can get her to the pet groomer...........plus my employees do not think much of a shop that smells like skunk lol

that would be a good idea if i did not have a dog ... she already got zapped by an electric fence before lol you would have thought someone was trying to cut her head off the way she was yelping

Saw a half grown skunk go thru chain link fence, about 5 feet in front of me!!!!!!

Yes they love eggs and chickens, but harder for them to get them off the roost.

lol my rott learned the first time , the wife and i would take her/ rott for a walk in a park next to a cattle field . the dog would always walk in front of us ....(yeah she is the boss ) lol anyways she got tangled in a electric fence and started yelping for a good 6-7 seconds until she got free lol... she hauled ass about 300 yards to the truck and sat by the pass side door and would not move until we let her in the truck lol .... to this day my rott still does not like that park
