Julia shook off the fearful feeling and took a book out of her green backpack and started to read quietly. The small pansy dropped from her fingers onto the mossy ground beside her foot.

He sighed, watching the flower. He took out a notebook and started weighting a poem.

Julia shut the book and looked out the window again.

Sam started to doodle, drawing a magnificent dragon then a wilting row. He smacked the book shut, plopping it into his bag.
