Morgan blinked her odd eyes at him, one violet and the other sea green. Her deep brown, layered hair fell over her-bird like shoulders, the royal purple highlights glowing. "I'm Morgan, you look lost." she said.

"I'm not lost. I'm here, aren't I?" he said gesturing to the gym, "Anxious, yeah. But aren't we all?"

She shrugged. "I don't know, I just figured I'd help ya out. I'm a sophomore here. You?"

"Oh, um... Thanks... I'm a freshman... I'm supposed to be sorted soon...ish..."

She nodded. "well, now we wait for the gym teacher."

Arkayla stayed towards the back of the group, nervous.
"there are many others here" astral observed.
"yeah, that's kinda why i'm nervous" ark said, scanning the crowd.

Winter stood in the gym quietly breathing from her mouth misty tendrils going into the air with each breath. The roof above her had a thin layer of frost.

Winter closed her mouth breathing thrpugh her nose the mist not coming out anymore. After a while she frowned when the frost began to melt and the water began to drip from the cieling onto her head.
