Peril was literally glowing with fire as she caught sight of Clay. "Hi, Clay!" she said squeakily. River winced.
"Oh, hey Peril, why don't you and Clay go for a fun flight while we clean up this mess?" she said cheerfully, gesturing to the perfectly clean garden.

River giggled now, unable to hold it back, and stuck her wings out. One collided with a flowerpot, which promptly tipped, sending earth everywhere. The other smacked a bush, whic did nothing except spray leaves.
"See, just a huge mess," she coughed out, trying not to laugh any louder than she already was. Peril looked at her like she'd just sprouted antlers.
