Altivo stood on a hill and surveyed the land below. His dark, almost black, mane and tail waved in the wind. They seemed almost to have a mind of their own. He saw a large gathering of horses. For a moment he stood silouetted against the dark night sky. Then he turned without a word and disappeared into the night. He looked around for a Skyherd horse to speak to.
