~Skyherd~ A wild horse Roleplay

"But my friends--Esther, Ira, Chance . . ." she sobbed, banging against one corner of the stall, trying to get away from the awful two-leg smell.

"Gemma!" She screamed. "You can't see them anyway! If you had listened to me we wouldn't be here! Now settle down, and sleep!" She said, calming herself. "I would never do anything to hurt you, neither would Shadow, so just relax...", "I'm sorry... I don't want to do this, but I can't have you getting hurt... If you stay with me, we can leave sooner..." She sighed, laying her head on the ground and feeling a sharp pain, "Agh!" She screamed.

Not already!
Ariel continued running.

Chance refused to leave. "Gemma! I am here! You can come with me! You are old enough! Leave Layla here!" He cried.

The vet walked out, and pushed him in a stall on the other side of the house. It was made of metal, and unable for any horse to leave. He locked the door, smiled, and walked back to Layla.

"Mommy?!" with a nicker of worry, Gemma walked towards her mother from the corner of the stall. She'd heard this sound once before, when Layla had given birth to Aspen and her brother. With a gasp, her eyes widened. "It's coming, isn't it?"

"Chance?" Gemma heard the metal door clang shut, and her blood ran cold. No, they couldn't get Chance, too!

Layla sighed, "I don't know Gemma... I don't know yet.". "I just want you to know that I'm doing this to keep you safe... And when you're ready to leave me, I'll help you.." She whispered, feeling pain again. "It might be....".

"You've made your point," she said bitterly. "I will follow you because you are my mother. I respect you for that. Even if it means I have to be a helpless little foal for all my days," she sniffed her mother, ready to help if the need arose.

Chance whinnied to Gemma.

Wow...super soon.
Ariel stopped near a creek and sighed.

"Gemma... I don't want you to feel that way... How about this, You can play with your friends in the morning -with me watching-, and spend the rest of the day hanging out with me and this little foal... And maybe later grazing...?" She said softly. "Now please lay down next to mommy. If I am having the foal I don't want to hurt you..." She whispered.
