I still love her, even if she doesn't think so. I hope her new foal makes her happier than she was with me." There was no bitterness in her voice, only a desire that their ending should be a happy one. "Thanks for listening," she said quietly, a little embarrassed.

Chance nuzzled her. "It'll be ok."

I'm not about to argue or anything, but there are no pure-bred palomino Arabians by the AHA standards. Arabians apparently don't carry dilution genes.

I got her picture off an araban site. and i said i was sorry.

"Yes," Gemma brightened slightly, having put Layla's burden off of her chest. "I--I think it will!" she smiled before starting at a brisk trot back towards the scent of Skyherd horses.

With a light-hearted whinny, Gemma plunged on, feeling sad, but at the same time freer than ever before. At last she could run, stretch her legs, explore, whatever she fancied!

Hearing the faint gush of running water, she slowed from her canter and into a walk, listening intently until she'd reached the creek's shore.
