AuroraHeart stood across from him at the pond, a brow cocked. Well that was rude, she thought to herself as she shook her long forelock from her face. The mare's palomino and white dappled coat shimmered under the sun's heavy rays and the water reflected back into her dark expressionate eyes, her Arabian-like features curving to-and-fro. She heaved a sigh and took a sip of the deep cerulian water, single little drops splashing to her mane.

Pheonix rolled his eyes. Those stupid, unattractively vain stallions could flirt all they wanted, but he wasn't going to throw himself at a mare like that.
