" You may be leader, but I am part of this herd now whether you like it or not and there is nothing you can do about it." he said eyes blazing. He was in truth much stronger and more experienced than Dappledsnow. He had been trained to rear and jump in the air in Lippiza and his back legs were extremely powerful. They could kick hard and fast, leaving a ghastly wound. He looked around for Golden.
Dappledsnow snarled. The stallion's teeth hadn't even made contact: his lips had only brushed his coat. Still, he was furious. Such a stallion should not be allowed here. Such a stallion should be dead. The Appaloosa's eyes nearly turned red with fury. This stallion would die.
Dappledsnow knew that the stallion was mistaken. He'd spent years practicing, years killing. He'd outrun and then killed cougars. He had knocked black bears out cold. He'd demonstrated his skills doing impossible flips, rears, lunges, and jumps. He had killed all but one stallion he'd set his mind to murder.
(Tell me if I'm not being family-friendly!!)
(i love stuff like this, what is a good story without the rotten apple? (but seriously i am making my stallion stronger than yours, sorry, but that is just how i want it and he doesn't want a fight, but he DOES want to have a mate and he is going to get it. i haven't yet revealed his background yet but then you will know why i'm having him be stronger.
