From the outskirts of the woods, Remus watched Apollo and Ariel solemnly. With a sigh, he watched Apollo go, shaking his head when Apollo kept moving away, away from his mate. He made his way quietly up into the forest, standing near Ariel, waiting for her to finish crying.

Ariel looked up and saw Remus and stood quickly. "Um, hello."

"Ariel," with a sigh Remus strode out to meet her, tail swishing and expression serious. "Please, think twice before you leave. Right now you're in so much pain you can't think straight, it will all look much different in time. You've still got Chance here. You've got friends, family. Don't leave that all behind because of Apollo."

Apollo walked along, occaisionly casting glances over his shoulder. Should I go back? Or would that make her even more up set.... He thought to himself, staying rooted to the spot.

" I know, and I don't intend to leave them forever but now..." She said, trailing off sadly.

" I know, and I don't intend to leave them forever but now..." She said, trailing off sadly.

"I know it's hard to think about this right now," he started slowly, carefully. "But what would you have preferred? Would you have wanted Apollo to refuse in that stall, and die? Or would you want him to live, to see him again?" he was not preaching, and his tone was steady.

"Well I can't tell you," he sighed wearily. "My opinion shouldn't matter. You just have to ask yourself, could you live with Apollo after what he's done? If you can't, then why? It's a choice you alone have to make, Ariel," he stared at her kindly, and he felt strained, watching her suffer in such a way.

Fin stood, panting slightly, a few yards from Remus and Ariel, waiting quietly. She wanted to speak to her.

Fin caught Remus's eye and shook her head at him, meaningfully. Then she cantered swiftly after Ariel, following steadily at a distance.
