A lone mare lurched to the top of a hill to overlook Iceherd below, the pale, dry grass crunching under her faintly banded hooves. She gingerly stepped forth, flicking her bushy ebony tail and nickering in a quiet manner to nobody in particular, in attempt to gather attention so that she could speak with someone. She seemed very aloof, her ears pricked high and her pearlescent white eyes watching everything through a long, two-toned mane.

Her sleek pelt was a base of light, silver-gray with extensive patches of white and a blanket with small, black rosettes on her hips and croups. On each leg were white cocks that reached up to her hocks, ending in black zippers. She had snowy white eyes full of expression, framed by silver that ebbed away from her eyes in streaks and speckles, a mousey gray muzzle with dark lips, and dark ghosting on her face.
