I normaly get away from predators but it was a tight space his teath dug in deep. they normaly go for the face and throat (thus all those scars) but this one came from behind and it surprised me. I can tell you one thing though that oversized cat in now volture prey. Who's your lead stallion by the way?'

I think i'll need to rest here for a couple days before i can leave. as deep as that leg wound is it might even take a couple weeks to heal.'

The shadow of a horse was caught in the moonlight, its owner moving slowly and silently around the edges of the camp.
It was a careless mistake; though the horse itself was hidden, it would be easy enough for another to find it.
