I've been waking up at noon lately. And indicator I need to go to sleep earlier or else I won't be able to wake up for the county fair, which is in a week or two and starts at nine...

I can't afford to wake up at noon in Arizona. I risk losing my birds to heat exhaustion and lack of water. I swear, if they aren't kicking over the waterer, or magically getting their food into it, it's evaporating.

After losing my dear Amber, I have been diligently waking up early to check the waterers.

Well, I'm staying with family in the Twin Cities at the moment, so their church is bigger than out small-town one, with more services. Apparently, we're going "Whenever we all wake up", but I think I'm going to have to be woken up if I ever fall asleep.

I don't know when ours here starts (we have several, but the main one is in the old town area) but from what I can make out it seems pretty early.

Well, I'm staying with family in the Twin Cities at the moment, so their church is bigger than out small-town one, with more services. Apparently, we're going "Whenever we all wake up", but I think I'm going to have to be woken up if I ever fall asleep.

Even when I wake up, it takes me about an hour to really wake up, you know what I mean? I guess I'm not what you would call a 'Morning person' by any means.

Yup! We already had a pre-county fair show and I won the champion's prize. Great for a person on their first year of 4-H.

I'm so sorry about that. Today was actually our first warm and sunny day in a while, it was rainy and only in the upper 60's a couple of days ago. But hey, we're in the Pacific Northwest. Land of rain & cold.

) at Dick Blick over here, and I got a new pack of sketching pencils that came with two "Watersoluble Graphitone Pencils".

I know exactly how you feel. I do the same thing every single morning, which is one of the reasons why I failed my first period class last school year.

Yes... I have heard nasty things about WA's weather. Right now, though, I would actually kill for some rain.

Graphitone is a name for fancy, high-quality Graphite.

It isn't what I would call nasty, unless you're on the mountains or in the middle of nowhere in the dry parts. Same thing goes for Oregon. It's just rainy most of the year, but once it's mid-late summer it gets very pretty and usually the perfect temperature. And because we have a whole bunch of green trees, flowers, water, critters, and mountains things are sooooo pretty.
