Moon - "what are you doing here, I thought I told you to leave" he said eyes narrowing. "Not without revenge" he said with a cruel smile. Suddenly a teriffied scream split the night. Moon - "Gloria" he turned to the horrified sight of Nicodemus pounding his love into a pulp. Moon - "no!" he yelled and lunged forward. Bruno, Midnight, and Scar stepped in front of him. The night echoed with Gloria's pained screams. He fought hard but he couldn't get through the 3 huge stallions. Finally they stepped away. There stood Nicodemus, Gloria lying dead at his feet. Moon - "How could you!" he yelled. he lay down beside her. Moon - "You should have killed Me!"he said. He let out a long low scream of heartbreak and loss. Moon - "Go, take the herd, leave me alone" he said queitly Nicodemus smiled "It would have been too easy to have killed you" and left. Moon - "Gloria oh gloria" he whispered. she had been due with his foal any day now."Gloria" he sobbed He awoke in a cold sweat. he felt pain and loss afresh.
Moon layed down. She could hear something int the distance. "MOOON1" She said sadly.
Moon was going through shock. this was why no nare had ever fallen in love with him since that night. he shuddered. this always happened to him. he could haredly baer it. (my fingers are so cold i touched mom and she nearly screamed, my armpits are soaking wet, and i am slightly trembling after writing that) He heard Goldie and got up and ran to her.
