Bill nearly dropped his jaw. That had probably been the longest speech he had ever heard shadowflax give. she must really be getting restless.

"Forced mating? We were mates you idiot, don't go about spreading nasty rumors about something you know nothing about," he growled. "You? Not cruel and instead good hearted? And me, an abusive stallion? Look at yourself in the mirror before saying these things."

'well i'm sorry. the pony said it was forced. and keep your temper in check.' sha added. then glancing at the stallion and back at the colt who both had there ears pinned she added 'like i said the apple dosn't fall far from the tree.' she paused at his look in the mirror coment and felt a pang. she knew she was ugly and mutilated from scars.


Bill watched the whole thing like a soap oppera. the stallion hadn't showed physical attack yet so he didn't try anything. he knew shadowflax got mad when he tried to intervene

That's okay, it was just a misunderstanding.

What happened was they were in an abusive breeding farm and though they already loved eachother and didn't really plan on having foals, the owners forced them to breed.

Esther sighed, and laid down slowly beneath the willow tree. The moon had come out, as did the stars. They twinkled like diamonds, the moon lighting up the chilly night. The silvery rays shone brightly upon Esther's coat, making her seemingly glow. She lifted her head to the sky, her beautiful brown eyes alight with the moon. How she longed for someone, or something special in her life. She was so terribly lonely from day to day....

shadowflax sighed the sun warming her coat. 'keep control of your temper' she said again. she looked at the little colt and pushed him around with her nose. 'this one will have to nurse off sun if she'll alow it' she said. she nipped at his but not hard enough to hurt him but hard enough to make him jump and stop baring his teath and pinning his ears. she had never had a foal and didn't quite know what to do.
