shadowflax sighed the sun warming her coat. 'keep control of your temper' she said again. she looked at the little colt and pushed him around with her nose. 'this one will have to nurse off sun if she'll alow it' she said. she nipped at his but not hard enough to hurt him but hard enough to make him jump and stop baring his teath and pinning his ears. she had never had a foal and didn't quite know what to do.

"My temper? I would say the same to you, especially when I wasn't the one who yelled and bit you," he said. After seeing the mare push around his foal, the stallion stood in between them. The little colt pinned his ears at Shadowflax as he peeked from behind his sire, wanting her to stop. "Leave him alone. You're making the situation worse by treating him like garbage."

shadowflax had been calm and even amused by the colt but that vanished 'yes your temper. it is why you wont cool off and quit being a jerk. I was not treating him like garbage, if i wanted to do that i would have hurt him which i didn't do. and teach your son respect if you wouldn't mind. you come barging into my home with your mate who has a baby that attacks me and bites me and then tell me i'm a jerk for gently pushing him off with my nose.' she tried not to show anger and set a bad example for the colt. 'i'm sorry' she said it sarcasticly 'next time i'll let him just latch onto my shoulder and tell him what a good boy he if for attacking a mare.'

Bill couldn't agree more with shadowflax. she hadn't done one mean thing and then a strange stallion had come in and harrased her for trying to get some strange vicious colt off her shoulder and other than a bite she hadn't done anything mean yet.

that was it shadowflax was at the snapping point she spun around at the pony. 'if one more strange unknown horse comes barging in on my home and snapps at me for protecting what is mine so help me there will be consiquences' she hadn't planned on being mean but even the calmest horse would have been mad by now.
