Shadowflax pinned her ears snarling at the wolf loosing her cool 'u caused it didn't u' she glared
the wolf just shrugged 'does it matter'

There was an opening in the trees ahead and the sound and smell of wolves.......lots of wolves.

shadowflax pricked her ears. the cry for help hadn't come from the wolf camp. she glanced at bill trying not to tip the wolves off that she knew they didn't have the foal.

Bill gave her a miniscule nod.

Shadowflax cleared her throat slightly hoping Bill would get the cue.

He did.

All of a sudden shadowflax attacked the young wolves lashing out with her hooves.

Bill got them from the other side.

A young wolf bit shadowflax in the neck and wouldn't let go. she didn't try to shake it off. she knew better, instead she held perfectly still and lowered it to the ground. she stepped on it. it screamed and let go and crawled off hacking up blood. while she had been throwning that one off more had ripped open her sides and back legs. blood gushed everywhere.

Bill reared up. wolves completely surrounded him ripping at his sides.

they both knew there was no way they would be able to beat them all off, other wolves in there pack had heard and there was at least 30 of them there.

Bill' shadowflax called. she nodded forward. he nodded back they ran. wolves attacked them slowing them. as they came to the edge shadowflax tripped over some persistent wolves and went head over heals falling.she got back up but her back and front ankle hurt extremly bad slowing her.

Bill saw her fall and watched with horor. he fell back and ran behind her keeping the wolves off her.

Shadowflax continued to run. a wolf ran up beside her closing in. greygasa. the wolf cackled. shadowflax struck out a front hoof and smacked her with it. the old wolf screamed and fell back but shadowflax knew she wasn't dead. shadowflax cought a wiff of the foal. she continued running.

at least 8 wolves still followed. now it was a race too the foal between them and the wolves.

Sun heard growling and the neighs of horses. She got up and ran swiftly into the forest. She collided with two wolves, her hooves smashing the head of one and piercing the side of another, killing both instantly.

shadowflax saw the foal up ahead she darted out racing the wolves. she skidded to a stop in front of the foal spinning around her blood flying and splatering. there where only 5 wolves left. the looked at bill who nodded. they both charged forward. the wolves where ready for them. they colided. one wolf ripped open shadowflax's side but in the end they killed them all.

Bill attacked one wolf who ripped his nose wide open. he squeeled and smashed it's head in before crushing anothers ribs. soon enough they where all dead.

shadowflax looked up. she saw sun. her heart missed a beat in worry. one wolf still circled her. shadowflax ran forward and tried to kill it but it darted away just in time. shadowflax chased it and killed it.
