shadowflax turned and started for the opening to the valley again. she nodded at the new horses as she passed 'thanks for the offer. you can come in the valley as long as you don't try anything bad.'

shadowflax headed for the waterfall. she waided under it blood washing off. it stung. she walked out. she looked at her side. a flap of skin hung still attached. she hoped it didn't get infected. she walked into her stand of weeping willow/apple trees going to the very center where no sound from the sourounding valley could be heard. she held her hurt leg up, she didn't want to lay down with all the rips on her side. the old owl fluttered down beside her. shadowflax cracked an eye open 'i didn't invite them' she said before she could even ask. the owl blinked 'noisy horses' she said. 'yes they r arn't they' shadowflax agreed. then she fell asleep.

Bill walked under the fall too washing the blood off. his tore open back leg seered. he was tired but didn't want to go to sleep with all these new horses around. he walked over too the new stallion. 'where do u come from' he asked
