Slaughtered my very first duck

I've processed a few ducks in my day and have never had a problem de-feathering them... just dipped them in really hot water like normal...

Same here. People tried to scare me off of it by telling me how hard they were to pluck. That hasn't really been my experience although it does take a little longer than a chicken. I really like using a propane torch to singe off the smallest down feathers. That really helps me.
