Ash stopped hissing, and her eyes didn't glow so much. She touched the place where Sasil had bit her. Pain shot through her neck, and she quickly pulled her hand away. The spot was dark blue, and small blue veins could be seen under the pale skin. Ashley lowered her eyes.
