Sled dog breeding

Never mind on the femur, she's same tone on both sides.

Did you compare the amount of muscle on the inner thigh to the muscle on the outer thigh? We want it even.

Is her hock like this?
If so then she has a slipped hock or two. The cartilage at the joint stretches further than it should. It makes it unstable. On the plus side it decreases her chances of blowing out that knee. Most dogs do absolutely fine as a pet with a slipped hock if not overworked. Though depending on her hips, it could make it easier for her to get painful or tweak it.

Has she had her hips xrayed? To see how they really are? You can have two dogs with identical Xrays, one runs around like crazy the other can barely move. It depends on the muscle buildup, individual temperament and amounts of mu receptors (they regulate how a dog feels pain).
