As much as Dawn p*ssed me off when she was in heat, at least she didn't poo on the carpet in my house. She was a grumpy bully, which was bad enough.

Nala's in season! She's being a total *****, she was on my bed so I told her off and she didnt move so I started to lift her off, she turned around growled and snapped at me so I got my shoe and said off and she growled again so I hit her with it and told her no growl, told her off she growled again so I flicked her nose and yelled off and bad dog she went puppy mood and hade a giddy fit and ate all our trash. So she's been kennels all day.
I really like Meringue now. what I don't like is that she gets scared more easily, becomes very verbal about how her feelings (like if i'm petting another dog, and she can see me, she lets me know I am supposed to be petting her), and tries to avoid male dogs
Dawn also gets very jealous and possessive when in heat. She doesn't want anyone else to get attention, whether from humans or the other dogs, and she will run the dog getting attention off. This is her being a bully and a b*tch. We ended up separating her from the other dogs because of her crap.
Somehow I missed this post. A dog should never growl or snap at a human. This is how dogs become aggressive and end up attacking someone. We have a 2 year old male Siberian in class who has bitten 5 people. He is lucky he didn't end up euthanized. You need to get her under control, and make sure she is in a crate or locked in a room when you are not with her.
