Hello again, how can I put my baby chicks to sleep?

keep chicks on a schedule-- lights out at a specific time Mine stay up and play and eat as long as the kitchen light is on--so i shut it off to get them to quiet down. They have a heat lamp to see by, and are not in total darkness.
