Sleepy & Green!

Hey all - -

I’ve got a 4YO hen who started acting strangely the last day or so:

-laying in the run alone instead of free-ranging with sisters
-pretty poopy, it seems a bit green as well

When I go near her she just gets up and slowly walks a few feet away and lays back down.

When was her last egg?

I'd see that she's drinking and eating, look her over for lice/mites, see that her crop is emptying, look for any injuries, bloat/fluid in the abdomen, look at the bottom of her feet for infection. A fecal float will tell you if worms are part of the problem.
At 4yrs of age, she may be starting to have some reproductive issues.

I appreciate the feedback. I’ll be isolating her today just so she can eat and drink all the good stuff without the other girls getting to it first. Your checklist is a big help!
