Sliding Glass Door in Coop

I missed the side door into run part.

My bad. I though she was going to use it as a people door.

As far as chickens flying into the glass, is it because of reflection of themselves? Like when a wild bird flys into a window? Maybe put some type of obscure film on one side of the glass so they can't see a reflection, but still let plenty of light in.

Not really -- chickens sometimes fly into coop windows just because they don't (at that moment in time, anyhow) realize it isn't open space. It generally occurs to chickens *inside* the coop, especially if startled.

Isn't very common though. Since most people have hardwarecloth or similar covering the inside of their windows, it acts a bit like a net and helps the chicken bounce off. You could do that wiht a large window -- some people do -- but an awful lot of people out there have large windows in their coop without having reported any problems with chickens hitting them. I'd worry more about it in an extremely large coop (where a chicken could be moving faster) than in a smaller one.

Won't keep bedding out of the track. Some bedding and poo still gets tracked over it. Really really. I have similar arrangement (for sliding popdoor) and have to clean it out periodically.
