I know what you're saying, I feel like the pasty butt expert! I spent a whole night thinking I was going to have to cull my little with the worst case. I finally got him through it and he's still kicking at almost 7 weeks. He's even mostly caught up on growth!

Thanks so much for this encouraging story! Fortunately, I’ve never had to deal with pasty butt before, but I can only imagine!
Junie seems okay tonight - I obsess over her crop (is it too squishy, too firm etc.), but she’s passing mostly solid poop every 20 - 30 minutes it seems (yes, I check on her that often), so I’m trying to talk myself off the ledge by repeating: If poop’s coming out, the system is working

Hopefully a few more days of regular eating and drinking and rest will get her acting more like a normal chick. And if she ends up more stunted and not a great layer as an adult due to this illness, I’m okay with that. As long as she’s healthy and happy with regards to everything else
