I don't know what moldy cherries might do, but there are people on this board who have posted about losing birds to crop problems after chickens ate moldy feed.
Funny, I've been tempted to do the same thing (grapes, cherries or whatever), but have not because I read here that you shouldn't feed your chicks anything that you wouldn't eat.
After all the work you've invested managing your flock, I'd say play it on the safe side.
I don't have chicken's yet, but
if only a few have mold i would just remove those, I do this with grapes or berries all the time, and I'm sure I've eaten a one or to that might have had a speck of mold but a little shouldn't be bad but allot would be or for human for sure.
