I have a silkie chick that I had to help out of the shell yesterday. She had zipped about an inch hole and left it. She was peeping at me for about 24 hours that way. So I got her out. Now that she is out of the incubator and I can inspect her, she is not well. She is sitting on her hocks. Cant stand up. Both pinky toes are curled under. So I put tape booties on both feet. Then I took a rubber band and tried to keep her feet together with that. But it doesnt help when she just sits on her hocks. They are now swollen and bloody. I put her in a tea cup to shield her from the other chicks. What do I do? This is my first hatch ever. Im so scared for her.

Put her on some poultry vitamins in her water. Helping chicks out of the shell is something we all want to do, but in many cases the chicks are unable to stand or walk, or have suffered brain damage. Place her on a soft surface such as a towel, and you might want to design a chick chair like the one below. Here are some links to help:

So I straightened her legs and made casts. Then I made her a chair. Only thing is I really have no way to supply food and water. If I hang a nipple waterer near her, she will go for it. But since she is soooo small, a little food dish like the bottle cap, she can't reach.

She may be getting stronger. She is chirping a lot. She is drinking water but I haven seen her eat on her own.
