Hi everyone, I always read this precious forum from... Italy, yes Italy! and I find a lot of info and "how to" in managing my hens-baby chickens-bantams.
For the second time, a baby chicken is born with problems on its leg. first time I didn't know what to do, now "chicken little" is 34 days old and it is growing up even walking on a foot.

The second time, after reading your experience, we tried to locate the dislocated tendon by stretching the leg towards its back and fixed the leg with a bandaid for 3-4 days. Now baby chicken - who is now 6 days old - walks like this.....

Is there a chance to adjust the situation?

Please forgive me if I made mistakes and thank you to all who will give me suggestions!

That's not a slipped tendon. Looks more like a rotated femur, for which there's no cure except possibly surgery. If the tendon has slipped, the chick holds the leg up.

Oh my godness!!!!

It started holding the leg up and now it is as you can see.... I'm so sorry for my poor baby chick...

Fortunately it doesn't seem to suffer, I mean... it eats and drinks as its brothers and if I try to put its leg up gently in the right position it doesn't chirp or any...

I really thank you for your answers, next step it's looking for a vet....
