I've got a hen who's just over a year old who's got a lame leg. She can't move it on her own at all. I see no sign of injury, no broken bone or skin, it's just limp.. She's calm when I manipulate the leg, but who struggles when I try to straighten it out like all the way the good leg. It's been two days (my daughter saw it yesterday, but failed to tell me. I saw it today), and she's just been flopping around trying to stay with the rest of her flock.

How do I fix this?

Well crap. I gave her a warm bath, and wouldn't you know, a HUUUUUUGE bruise bloomed on her leg. It is broken. Just not where I thought it would be.
Poor girl. She's warm safe and well fed tonight, and tomorrow I'll put her out of her misery (and into my freezer). Poor girl. She was so sweet too when I was messing with her. She's usually rather skittish, but she fell asleep right in my arms.
