Slipped Tendons

Hello all,

I have 2 chicks that are 2 weeks old with slipped tendons. They are hardened so it's not easy to work them back into place. Is there anything I can do at this point or is it a lost cause. Thanks for any help.

Do you have pictures of the legs? It can be hard to tell slipped tendon from leg bone deformities, and neither is often successfully treated. The earlier slipped tendon is treated in the first days, the better the chance of success. This link explains how to tell if it is a slipped tendon, and some info on treatment:

Do you have an update?? Mine has the same problem and i am not able to slip it back into place because its hardened already
