Slow chicken

My chicken a speckled Sussex of about 5 months is acting kind of weird. She was with four of her other year mates and she was sitting down in the middle of them when I went over to make sure she was okay she didn't get up shes usually a little scared of humans. I picked her up with no struggle from her. She was panting and had her wings out a little bit but it isn't a hot day at all 75 degrees out. when I put her back down her year mates had walked away and she just stood there then she started walking towards them still panting. a little later I took her inside to keep an eye on her she was perfectly fine does anyone know what might have happened.

She's probably got an egg on the way. It can take several weeks for them to adjust to the egg laying process, and in the meantime can cause some strange behaviors.

I thought that might be it but shes laid like three eggs and shes never acted this way before.

Now shes also kind of closing her eyes while standing up and not really trying to go over to her buds it looks like shes going to fall asleep on her feet.
